Does Your Personality Match a Retriever?

 

A Labrador Retriever is an ideal family dog. They are kind, good-natured, and need vigorous exercise. It is not the most ideal pet for a busy person who will no be home most hours of the day. They mature slowly, remaining a spirited teenager for several years, so they require plenty of patience and training to manage.

 

This breed is perfect for you if..

  • You are able to provide sufficient amount of exercise, and this doesn't mean just a couple of short walks around the block.
  • You like short, easy-care coat.
  • You are patient and have enough energy to deal with rowdiness and exuberant jumping.

Mental exercise is important for German Shepherd. This can include advanced obedience classes, agility classes, tracking, herding, etc. German Shepherds are extremely smart and think a lot.
