At Bark ATL, we promote cage-free.  As the weather is getting nice, don't let the indoors be your cage.  And, while you're getting out, why not take your pup with you?  Getting your dog out of the house will not only make your pet happy, but it is a great source of exercise for them. Spring is right around the corner and there are many events coming up within Atlanta for you and your dog to enjoy together. Here are a few of our favorites in the month of March:

 

Doggy Con

The Doggy Con is an event sponsored by Bark Atl taking place on August 17th,2019, from 10am-1pm at Woodruff Park (91 Peachtree St. NW) in Atlanta. At the Doggy Con event, you can expect to see a pet parade, costume contest, socialize with dogs owners and their dogs, as well as shop with vendors with many items that can be purchased for your dog.

Rescue Dog Olympics

The Rescue Dog Olympics will be an event taking place on March 17th,2018, from 11am-5pm at Brooks Run Park (4744 N Peachtree Rd) in Dunwoody.  This event was created by the Atlanta Metro Rescues United in order to celebrate rescue dogs and their families. At this event,  you can expect a fun field day for dogs and their owners to enjoy.

The Atlanta Pet Expo

The Atlanta Pet Expo will be an event taking place on March 24-25th 2018 at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds. This event is free admission for family & pet - free parking as well. During the event, there will be various things that you can do: playing, learning, shopping for the latest pet products and even adopting a new pet. Plus,  there will be tons of exhibitions, free nail trims, discounted vaccinations, microchipping, costume test, and lots more.

Paws on Patios!

Paws on Patios is Saturday, March 24, 2018, starting at 11:00 am.  Pick your Patio for an all-day party! Stop by one of the participating restaurants with your pup and hang out on the patio. 15% of sales go to benefit Paws Atlanta, Angels Among Us Pet Rescue and Two Tailz Rescue.
